Sam Clark - Winner of the Coast to Coast 2018 - will open the Manawahe Multisport Race on 5th April 2018.
The Schools Manawahe Multisport race be held on Thursday 5th April 2018. It is an entry level Multisport race:
The race is in two-person teams that share 1 bike. The course will start at Manawahe back on the Northern shore of Lake Rotoma and finish at the Manawahe Eco centre:
- a small orienteering exercise (20 checkpoints) at the lake edge. Be prepared to get wet!
- a shared mountain bike, where two people share 1 bike (6.5 km)
- a farm run (3km)
- a mystery activity at the finish
There is an Intermediate (year 7-8) junior (9-10) and senior (11-13) category for male, female and mixed and the entry is $15 per person. There will be spot prizes as well as placing prizes.
